Writing for Publication Club

The English Department offer students the opportunity to attend a weekly specialist creative writing class, which aims to foster creative writing talent in the College in both poetry and prose, and to further student success in writing competitions.

The class is run by our writer-in-residence, the award-winning poet, Mrs Kerrin Davidson.

The Writing for Publication Club is open to any students who are interested in creative writing, regardless of experience. Students should commit to regular attendance. This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their writing craft, work alongside talented writers and to share and discuss their work. Members will receive expert tuition and be presented with numerous opportunities to publish work and to be challenged and recognised as writers.
