Endeavour and Foundation Scholarships

St Andrew’s College is pleased to offer a variety of scholarships to students with exceptional academic, sporting, or cultural ability, who would not have otherwise been able to attend the College due to financial need.

Your generous support will ensure that we can continue to provide these worthy students with an incredible opportunity to access the world-class education and special environment at St Andrew’s College, in which their unique talents and abilities can flourish, and develop to their
full potential.

Both the Endeavour and Foundation scholarships are managed through the Foundation. The St Andrew’s College Foundation was formed in 1993 to ensure the ongoing success of the College. Since then, through the generous donations and prudent financial stewardship, the Foundation has grown to $12.5 million.

The Foundation generously supports a number of scholarships each year through the Endeavour and Foundation scholarships.

Your gift to the Foundation is a lasting legacy which has tangible benefits, both to the fortunate students and for the College itself.

There are two Endeavour Scholarships and these are needs based:

1. Targeted for rugby players
2. Targeted for academic students 

How do students benefit from a Scholarship?

Students on a scholarship receive financial support to enable them to access the top-class facilities, dedicated teaching staff, and diverse academic and co-curricular programme at St Andrew’s College, which supports them to develop special talents to their full potential. Academic scholars enjoy a rich and balanced academic programme which includes the Academic Extension and Enrichment programme for gifted and talented students. Young musicians work with top class teachers in a state-of-the-art music suite and can participate in up to 25 classical and contemporary music groups. High achieving sportspeople are also well catered for with impressive indoor and outdoor facilities, support from a group of dedicated coaches including many former international sportspeople, and the opportunity to participate in an Athlete Sports Performance programme.
