Secondary School and Boarding House Open Day

At our Secondary School and Boarding House Open Day, held in March each year, your family will visit all of the important buildings and facilities on campus, watch various demonstrations taking place throughout the College, see classes in action, and watch sports trainings taking place. In addition to our various learning centres, you will visit some of our special facilities, such as The Green Library and Innovation Centre, Music Department, TV and Media Studio, High Performance Fitness Centre, Strowan House, and the Centennial Chapel.

If you are interested in boarding at St Andrew’s you are also able to attend the Boarding House Open Day, where you can meet boarding staff and tour our state-of-the-art boarding facilities.

The Open Day concludes with an address from Rector, Christine Leighton, in the Centennial Chapel, who will share the St Andrew’s vision, philosophy and wonderful opportunities on offer for your child.

• Year 9 Applications (for children and siblings of Old Collegians) – Monday 18 March 2024
• Year 9 Boarding Applications – Friday 22 March 2024
• Year 9 Day Student Applications – Friday 12 April 2024

Preparatory School and Pre-school Open Day

At our Preparatory School and Pre-school Open Day, held in March each year, enthusiastic student guides will lead your family on a tour of the wonderful facilities for Year 1–8 students in our Preparatory School Learning Centre and Junior School. Tours for the Pre-school will be conducted by Pre-school staff. Demonstrations will take place in various classrooms, with regular lessons continuing in other classrooms to give you an insight into the St Andrew’s learning environment. In addition, you will visit specialist facilities for art, music, drama and dance, science, food technology, and individual music tuition, along with our impressive outdoor sports and playground facilities.

Booking a School Tour and Boarding House Tour

At any time throughout the school year you are welcome to book a School Tour and/or Boarding House Tour with our College Registrar, Lynn Smith. As your personal guide, Lynn will take you into our modern learning centres, visit our special buildings and facilities, and maybe even take you inside a classroom during regular lessons. She will be happy to answer any questions you might have about St Andrew’s College and its programmes. If you are a potential boarding family, Lynn can also take you on a tour of our wonderful boarding facilities, where you will also have the opportunity to meet with our friendly boarding staff and get a feel for the caring, supportive environment, which could be your child’s home away from home.

School and Boarding House Tours can be arranged from Monday to Friday at 9.00am, 11.00am and 1.30pm by clicking here.
